Saturday evening I decided to visit the Deep Ellum Trading Company. This cool new storefront houses t-shirts and merchandise made by local artists. All of the products promote Deep Ellum, and the proceeds go back to the neighborhood.
Since the weather was nice that day I decided to walk over and bring Pierre with me. Within minutes of our arrival, one of the artists who was working kindly brought over a Deep Ellum bandana for Pierre. After browsing around for a while, I came to find out that the hospitable artist was Kelly Saunders. I noticed her picture on the hang tag on one of the shirts I had been eyeing.
We chatted for a bit before I decided to get the shirt. It’s so comfortable, the fit is just what I wanted, and I love the design! Be sure to stop by The Deep Ellum Trading Company this Saturday when the area will be celebrating the Fall Gallery Walk and Dallas Salsa Fest. I’ve heard there will be live music, and of course lots of great things to see!
