Hi, my name is Julie. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I created this blog to share some insights about my life and spread the word about local history and happenings- concerts, festivals, unique and annual events, new restaurants, etc. And I still aim to do that. You can find these kinds of posts under the Local and Lifestyle categories.  

But this year (2024), I’ve decided to add a section about Christian faith topics as this is an area of my life that I value and spend a lot of time reading and learning about. I invite discussions, thoughts, and questions on these posts. But I mean to keep this forum respectful. If you’re not interested in the topic, feel free to skip over to my other topics, or check out my creative writing. However, I’m hoping that by adding this new category, I will be able to learn more, reach others, and create a thoughtful and reverent community.
